Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

· The Master Material Planner works closely with the supply planers, material planners, purchasing, formulation and supply chain (operations) teams.

· The Master Material Planner ensures a smooth monthly raw material demand forecast process (RMR).

-Improve solutions and tools to improve the accuracy of the planning with purchasing, formulation and supply chain (operations) teams.

· Master Material Planner is a key role in the IBP process, as the forecast it delivers will enable operations to meet the production targets timely, efficient, and cost effective.

· The Master Material Planner combines variety of information from formulation, supply chain / procurement, operations (timely, as accurate as possible, useable in qualitative and quantitative terms) in order to properly forecast the raw materials to need purchasing

· The Master Material delivers an important piece of information for the IBP process, ensure the purchasing is properly planned.

· The Master Material Planner role has typically a planning horizon of 1 to 18 months on monthly buckets and 3 months on weekly buckets The level of the role depends on the scope and complexity, based on number of raw materiales and product portfolio.

The Master Material Planner works closely with the Supply Planner. Depending on the size of the organization, these 2 planning roles maybe combined into one or two roles, merging the responsibilities of supply and demand planning, and/or scheduling.

· The Master Material Planner coordinated the Key Meetings with Formulation, Purchasing & Suppy Chain with the purpose to build the next raw material demand from de bottom up

-The Master Material Planner align the raw materials needs with the SCH team to ensure the storage.

· The Master Material Planner focus on the reduction in stock-outs, improved inventory management, DIO, DOC.

What we are looking for

Professional with 3rd level degree, related to Supply Chain, Management or related.
Minimum of 5 years in positions related to Demand Planning and Procurement Planning.
English proficiency (B2+).
