Technical Director

Technical Management:
·          Develop, drive and implement the Nutreco China strategies in the technical / formulation context.
·          Lead, develop and optimize formulation solutions with internal and external resources to ensure Skretting China’s competitive advantage in formulation area.
·          Collaborate with global, regional and local team to successfully transfer global know-how to local expertise and product in technical areas.
·          Align with global development needs, complete the relevant technical tasks and promote technical innovation.
·          Make the annal planning and resource budget. Control the formulation of the company according to corporate standards.
·          Set the technical standard, quality standard and portfolio for products. Comply with the feed regulation and the relevant government laws.
·          Ensure the qualified raw materials and output of production in line with formulation design.

R&D:
·          Actively develops with his team and the Global Marketing portfolio managers in R&D/innovation portfolio.
·          Acts as a delegated sponsor in R&D studies and Complies with the rules and guidelines of the Stage-Gate process
·          Fulfil in R&D studies the role of sponsor, study director or responsible scientist.
·          Accountable for the R&D activities in the innovation portfolio and for the budget, planning and quality of the output.
·          Assures appropriate resources of the projects and keeps track on the progress. Be responsible for the in- and external progress reporting.
·          Establish and maintain good relationship regarding techniques with government administration and the third-party R&D academy & institutes.

Business Support:
·          Investigate on new market demand, new formulation and raw materials. Customize feed and feeding technologies to fit the business opportunities.
·          Provide and lead the technical service, proposal, and training for business departments & clients. Collaborate with sales and marketing.
