A day in the life…
The Central/East Europe team is located all over Europe. Depending on your location (either Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic or Italy) you might decide to go to the office or work from home. Flexibility and freedom to determine your own agenda are key here. We trust you are motivated and feel the ownership of your own results to make every day into a great day at work.
During the day you will be working on:
- Strategy Execution – plans how to establish and maintain major account relationships in 17 different countries across Central and South East Europe
- Distributor Management – takes care of a group of poultry distributors that give access to the largest poultry integrators. These distributors will be your support in several countries
- Customer Acquisition – target group are the larger poultry integrators throughout the region
- Customer Management- continue with the strong client relationships already established that allow for continuity, ongoing representation, and profitability reinforced by sales support/delivery programs.
- Support – organises customized customer seminars and coordinates applicable targeted marketing activities together with the European marketing teams
- Internal networking- responsible to coordinate the internal expertise for Key Accounts by collaborating with the General Manager, Country Manager, Technical Sales Team, Product Development, Pricing and your counterpart at different business entities
- Stay up to date with internal developments and training – build own product and technical knowledge in relevant product categories by taking local & global technical training.
- Administration – like forecasting, debtor control, pricing, coordinating orders, staying in contact with the customer care team and handling customer complaints as the primary contact.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
In order of preference/importance
- You are fluent in English. Any other languages are a plus
- Several years of experience in poultry key account management in a business-to-business environment – preferably with a feed additives background
- 17 countries require a willingness to travel internationally – how much you travel depends on your vision of what is good key account management (a guideline is 30%, but this is not a restriction)
- Team player with strong negotiation, presentation and cultural skills. You will be dealing with the largest poultry accounts in Europe. Are you confident that you can handle such complex customers?
- Excellent communication skills – you will be dealing with so many different types of people both at Trouw Nutrition as well as at the customer level, that you must really like to play in different layers of an organisation
- Organizational skills and time management skills - in different words; you should be able to deal with an agenda that is not one day the same. If you love repetitive patterns, then this is not your job.
- Strong sense of personal accountability
- We believe that your education level is not a criterion to judge someone on. With experience in real life, we believe you have a lot more to contribute. Therefore we don’t add education to this list
